White tours nation with debate team

As a student, Jeff White developed a knack for public speaking.

He had been competing in Modern Woodman School Speech contests since the fourth grade, ultimately making it to the state competition in eighth grade.

White initially was attracted to the debate program as an alternative to taking a speech class. However, it was the experience of watching varsity debaters discuss strategy for upcoming tournaments that convinced White he wanted to be a debater.
