Yeah, prayers are with the family.

By the way, do not look at his facebook while "Fire & Rain" is playing on your iTunes.....that's a tough combination.

Never met him, but I have some common friends.

He seems like an awesome guy, and I am sure he is rejoicing with the angels.

Prayers for his family, I can't even imagine that kind of loss...

I went by his dorm yesterday after I heard from a friend of mine about it...those guys (and the girls from their sister dorm) are taking it extremely hard. Many of the guys just stood outside the dorm in utter shock, and many of the girls were in tears. Im sure the Student Care Office is working with them at this point.

I am praying as well in Houston. It seems we have a long history of these types of accidents at LU. Thankfully we serve a mighty God for whom we can lean on in times like these.

Sad news from New Tripoli
Total People in Discussion: 1

I enjoy this blog in part because I get to respond immediately to something and the readers get to respond right back.

Sometimes when I read a message posted to one of my previous messages, and I read them all, I laugh. Other times I want to scream and sometimes, like today, I just want to cry.

That's because we've lost another fine young person in a tragic way.

I didn't know until reading the response of "Tiger Fan" to my previous post that Mark Guensch, the starting point guard on last year's Northwestern team and the brother of current starter Drew Guensch, died in a car accident early Sunday morning on Route 100, just south of Route 309.

Continue praying for this kid's family. I know one of the pastors from LU and a group went up to PA representing the school at the service today.

Been through some tough times, but never had to attend a son/daughter's funeral. As sad as it gets.
