"He's gotten attention from FBS schools for coordinator jobs and he's had some looks from other FCS schools," Barber said. "He's even drawn attention from the NFL as a position coach. What we wanted to do was to remove a lot of those distractions from his life.

"Danny wants to be the football coach at Liberty. So we just tried to compensate him in a way that let him know we want him and that we believe in him."

We need a big time coach. I will say that Rocco had pretty good numbers but He just seems that if he gets in a tight situation he will somehow mess up. I know that ____ won't coach next year but I don't think we will go deep in the playoffs with Rocco. If we make them next year which I think we will.

Also, your original comment was about not being able to take us deep into the playoffs. With the championship on the line AT GW he stepped up and led us to the win.

I do support our team all i was saying back in the other thread was that I think we need a big time QB and RTF had to go all wild and start saying stuff. So all i was saying is i don't think brock is as good as you guys say he is. Trust me i want liberty to win or I wouldn't want a better QB coming in.

Well, the fact that you want a Junior in high school to come in and start shows something about your football knowledge.

Furthermore, what did Brock do to deserve not being the starter? Was it the 68 points against ST. Francis? the 73 against VMI? or the 48 against Presby? Maybe the win over Coastal? The Championship game 3 TD's against GW with NFL talent on Defense?

Oh, wait, no, it wasn't any of that. It was a slow start with one or two mistakes in the William and Mary game, and an entire team not showing up against Elon...

ok dude bottom line if your beloved Brock was an above average QB he would NOT be at liberty and no i am not ripping Liberty but yes we do play in the Big south so if brock was really that good he would not be here.
