LUconn speaks much wisdom. As long as you don't come emptyhanded tomorrow you will be fine.

And for the record, a dozen roses is overkill. A half dozen dead flowers is sufficient unless you have done something completely reprehensible.

My wife is now down with potted iris or such. She can enjoy them for a couple of months then you plant them and they come back next spring.

Now dinner is a different matter. Don't chintz or your dozen roses will be wasted.

See, THIS is why we got married on Feb. 15 -- easy to remember, and the flowers go on sale after Valentines day.

Pajama gram is not as bad as the Vermont Teddy Bear. I really hate those.

I don't like flowers. Hopefully a quiet evening without the kids and time alone with my hubby will be happening tomorrow night if not then sometime this weekend. Flowers in MN are stupid as soon as they hit the below zero temps they are dead!

I haven't (don't plan on it either) gotten my wife anything for v-day. What should I expect tonight?

:D

I did get her a card, and I was planning on taking her out to eat tonight but that's not going to happen because I have to much work that HAS to get done. Now, I'm thinking I better come up with something else so I it's not like some of what ya'll are describing tonight.
