I thought we had a thread on here about this site already, but I couldn't find it. Anyways, it's been updated with each link at the top you click on has a different picture at the top. Many of the LUnatics are pictured in at least one of these photos.

Coach updated the diary on the website recently:
Our team GPA was the highest in the program in five years, and our seniors are a representation of the effort put forth by the entire squad. Even though he was not officially on our roster because of his non-qualifier status, Johnny Stephene was very impressive in the classroom, making the Dean’s List this past semester. Because of his work ethic in the classroom, Johnny will be on scholarship and eligible to play next season.

We will have all the new incoming players and returners back on campus for July’s summer school session. The basketball season is long and can distract from a student-athlete’s studies, so we like our players to alleviate some of that burden in the summer, helping these young men stay on track to graduate in four years.

Also from the May 29th blog:
We have had some additions to the roster. Jesse Sanders and Bill Weaver, both high school seniors in the class of 2008, signed to play for Liberty next season. We are excited to add a person of Jesse’s character and ability to the Liberty program. He is a tremendous young person who will immediately add a lot of value to the basketball program and Liberty University. I am also really excited that there was a player of Bill’s caliber still available this late. Liberty is very fortunate to get a student-athlete with the athletic ability and academic foundation Bill Weaver possesses. Bill comes from a very successful program at Bethel, and he will be a great representative of Liberty University.

I love the story of a walk-on who joins a program and earns playing time and in some cases a scholarship while he is at it. One of those cases happened this past season. Kyle Ohman had a tremendous season for us, setting the fourth-best three-point success rate in a season (41.1), and we awarded him with a scholarship for next year. I believe Kyle has a chance to be an all-conference performer for us next year.

Anyone else think that last sentence is a bit overly optomistic? Obviously Richie is an Ohman fan, and let's face it, if you're a player it's great to have LUnatics standing in the front row, but the best fan you can have is your head coach!

It may not be overly optomistic though. Coach could sincerely think that which would cause me to question our incoming talent.
