Talked to Jen Vaden yesterday, and it appears that we may be in a tournament at KU the weekend before the Notre Dame tourney. KU was ranked 14th I think. Teams slated to be there besides us and KU are Oregon State and I think the other team was Albany. Could be a great tournament to watch. Jen said it is not finalized yet, but it looks really good for happening.
Well, we need some good competition outside of the BSC.
This past year showed that the ladies are the class of our conference, and are only getting better. While Winthrop and High Point should still be tough matches, and UNCA seems to have some solid players, we will need to test our skills as much as we can to get ready for yet another run at a Big South and maybe National Title!

The volleyball games I saw while we lived in Lawrence were at the Horejsi center - which is right next to Allen Field House and also serves as a basketball practice facility. They might play the tournament in the Field House, but I don't think so.
If you haven't been to Lawrence in the past year, they built a shiny new hall of athletics / museum at the entrance to Allen Field House (part of the massive renovation of that great building) and it's a must see. Lots of great memorabilia, etc
