Interesting little factoid...Liberty has won the last 24 meetings with Winthrop (including all 19 since Carey Green became head coach in 1999). In Coach Green's tenure, LU has won by an average of 71-49 (71.4-48.6 to be exact)

I still remember back in the year that LU went undefeated that WU took the Flames to overtime down in Rock Hill. Possibly the most entertaining/intense women's basketball game I'd ever been at. Unfortunately WU wasn't able to come up with the win.

Very nice game for the ladies. They looked really focussed and they were really doing a good job pushing the ball up the court. Time to return to dominance of the Big South! (hopefully!)
