With a starting lineup of Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Kobe, and Fisher along with an underrated bench, this team has to be considered a big time contender for the championship. That lineup is just scary...Orlando is gonna win.

Boston absolutely has to have its "big three" and Rajon Rondo healthy if they want to win, and they have been getting a little banged up as of lately and struggling. I think Detroit has the best chance out of the East.flamesbball84 wrote:Once Andrew Bynum comes back, the Lakers could very well win the championship. and if not Orlando, then whoever else comes out of the East.
The top teams in the East are more than good enough to hang with the West, Boston, Detroit, and Orlando all have legit frontlines and good scorers, and will matchup against anyone.

And I don't think Orlando has PG issues. I think we are just fine there. I think we have SG issues, as in, we don't have one worth a crap.
flamesbball84 wrote:Why not? Arroyo has a better Assist to turnover ratio than TJ Ford, Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Rajon Rondo, Jason Terry, Derek Fisher, Ray Felton... you get my point.ToTheLeft wrote:All of those teams are going to be looking to pick someone up at the deadline, tho.You got Jameer Nelson and Carlos Arroyo at the point, and lately Arroyo has been the man at point. for some reason I get league pass for free with my nba.com login...so I have watched quite a few games...more then half...anyways...Carlos just doesn't do a good job running the team...nothing is terrible stats wise...that is true, but he always seems to make some key boneheaded plays....
both guard spots need to be looked at...actually really then need to move Rashard to the 3 and Turk to the 2...but there is so much the team needs to do to get to championship level...they are getting closer, but they aren't there yet....at this point I will be happy when they finally win a freaking playoff series....NBA Finals are in this teams future, that is for sure...just not this year...its going to be Detroit or Boston from the east.....
I do remember the good old days...I lived in Orlando back in 1989 when the team first started play...was there during the Finals run to see how excited the city got....those were good times....and with Dwight Howard now, I just am excited about the future...
