Poor old JE, he just doesn't have it any more. He has been good for a good long time, not exciting, but solid. It was the hardest thing to do to listen to him tonight, but I had no other choice. I guess he didn't make any more than 90-100 mistakes. I genuinely feel sorry for him.

Seriously. When does AZ gradumagate? I never want to see that dude again. He seems like a real nice guy too. Maybe a little whiney to the refs, but he's tough to dislike. Although he does wear those straps that tighten the jersey shoulders. Those are for girls.

My one thought that I had over and over during this game: If Ohman is not hitting his shot, he needs to hit the bench instead. He was a complete mismatch on defense all night. Obviously a guy like AZ will have his way with him, but when ace was taking a breather, I saw him on 6'11" Daniels. I guess he's a needed body when it comes to foul trouble, but over Holland?

I watched it on TV. Went to the vines to see it with my 2 oldest sons, and the youngest go sick (BLAAAA) outside. Never even went inside. Wasted tickets!
So we had to come home and watch on TV!

Sloppy in the 2nd half. Way to many drives to the hoop on a wing and a prayer. I hate that. Work for a good percentage shot. But a good win any way!
Looked like a good crowd!

Get the guy a stat keeper and let JE focus on the game. Everytime I see him he's talking and marking stuff off on his stat sheet. I know I couldn't do that.

It was almost as if nobody could solve whatever it was that they were doing on D. Hopefully, McKay will go over the tape with them.

Hey 38 percent from three is not that bad. I know otherwise we played pretty crappy, but at least we still won. Didn't see or hear the game but 2 threes from Anderson. Wow, those six points make the difference.

Look, all I'm saying is that off balance driving flip shots are a total crap shoot. It wasn't like we we're even drawing a lot of contact. So, they were a waste with the game on the line. If their goofy center could catch the ball wide open underneath we would have been in trouble.

The driving was just fishing for fouls. and we didn't get many. the refs let the boys play most of the game.

once again the refs had some bad ones tonight. they are equivalent to high school refs.
that game was very exciting. I didn't think the turn out was as good as saturday, but the number i heard was better, maybe i heard it wrong.
Ace had a big night tonight. those free throws at the end were clutch

I missed the entire thing but if we picked up a win then I'm not going to complain. HPU is not a bad team even if no one played particularly well on either side.

That was sloppy, but any win in conference is a good one. I thought BJ did well tonight with some clutch three's.

Two and a half hours after the game and I'm still completely ticked off. I'm so tired of this crap from people at games. I don't even know if I'm going on Monday night now. I'm starting to wonder if it's all worth it.

I dont think it is either... Its out of control and we are dealing with people who let power and titles go to their head and its just crazy.... People just assume that they are the boss and they need to get put in their place and you cant use logic with them... Worthless jackasses. I dont know if i can say that, if i cant ill change it

I dont know the whole story about what happened but based on what I did see, he didnt need to get as upset as he did. The grabbing and pushing the guy (Amos I believe was his name), through the first two rows I dont think was totally needed. I talked to the guy after when I wanted to help clean up and I think at least that gave him something to be happy about. Don't give up SJ, I think you put too much into this to stop now.

I didnt see what happened but Jon and TBGBGBGB if youre gonna let 2 people stop you from going to watch an LU game youre nuts. Stupid threats like sitting down at games or not even showing up show just how immature we are. There will be alot of bumps in the road. Fact is Amos was sayin stuff from the get go that he shouldnt have said and as leaders standing right next to him its our job to stop that. He didnt know any better, we did. Go ahead an complain about how the guy overreacted, fine. But we could have stopped that situation before it happened. We didnt. Jon you are the face of this thing, and youre the leader. Its time you start addressing the people under you as opposed to complaining about somebody to Kevin every game. TBGBGBGBGB you gotta calm down with your empty threats about sitting to KK. McKay has done way too much for us to consider not showing up. And of all people, KK? Hes jumped through hoops for us, stuck out his neck for us, and we owe it to him and to McKay and to LU to do our thing every game.

The guy over reacted, so what? We are the leaders of our guys, lets stop worrying so much about a power trip and take care of our people.

Bryan, you're so off-base here you don't even know what you're talking about. I'm sorry, I love you, but you're just wrong. You didn't see what happened so you have absolutely no basis for what you're saying. The fact of the matter is this crap happens every game and when you work as hard as me and Andy to get this stuff going the right way, when you spend as much money as we do, and when you put so much time into something, it gets frustrating when this crap happens every game. For the past two years I've let my grades suffer for athletics. I've let my bank account bottom out God only knows how many times so that I could make it to a game. I have blown off family members and friends so that I could go to a game. I've turned down jobs for work because I wouldn't be back in town in time for a game. When you do that much, and get treated like we do every game, it gets to a point where you start questioning it. I've overlooked so many reasons not to do all of this stuff for the past two years simply because I love this school and love these things, but sooner or later you start not being able to overlook those things. I wish I could do something to show them what it would be like without us. I really do. I can't though. I love this team, these players, this school, and this staff too much to not show up to a home game or not cheer for them. I've driven four hours to games on a Tuesday night after having class all day with class the next morning at 7:50 because I love this school. I had an intensive, left right when class was over, drove two hours to a game, got back at one in the morning, and went to the next day of intensive because I love this school. I'm not asking for a thank you. The only thing I ever ask for is our guys to play hard on the field/court. However, this is the fifth or sixth game this season out of eleven home games that we've had someone get up in our faces when they had absolutely no business doing it. Did Chris say something over the line? Yes. We corrected that. We're kids. We screw up. The best thing about our group is that when we screw up, we apologize and try our bests not to do it again. That's not what we're complaining about, but since you didn't see what happened, you have absolutely no clue what we're upset about. I love you kid, I really do, but this goes so far past tonight that I don't even know anymore.

That was so out of line it's not even funny. I'm not even going to address that simply because you have no clue what you're talking about with it.

How about we stop crying every time something happens, and start to do the right thing.

He was out of line with the things he said. He should have been tossed. He did something that incited the guy in authority over him.

Oh well, emotions happen.

Guys, we need to fix ourselves before we try to fix the system...

Every time this happens, we always have to concede we were wrong... How about not being wrong? How about rising above their standards... and showing that we can have a ton of fun and get into coaches and players heads without having to cross the line.

Every situation is different, but in all of them, we did something wrong. If you want to argue that, you will lose.

The only time we didn't do something wrong was when I was told not to say "Eat More Chicken" at the Volleyball match against CCU.

Every other time, it has to be "We were wrong, but..."

Be the example, keep it clean, and be mature.

The guy overreacted, sure. But Chris should have been long gone from that game based on the rules.

Half of us should be tossed from every game.

We get a lot of grace according to the rules set in place.

So how about we use our brains and rise above that instead of whining and crying every time something isn't perfect.

I will stand. At every game. And contrary to what I said earlier to someone, I will be at VMI. 3 spots in my car, who's in.

It's a great day to be a Flame.

Fan the frickin' Flames.

You might be the big bad leader, but you can't just dodge everything like that.

He is exactly right, and once your blood stops boiling you will understand.

Man, I am not even talking about this, I love both of you, but your being idiots especially when you dont know what happened. I would just hope that If someone put their hands on me the way they did Amos someone would stand up for me too besides Jon. Hes the only one thats got our backs it seems. I would like to Thank RocketFan for holding me back and not letting me at that idiot, and I know Amos has my back the way I had his and Jon has our backs too... Im not talking about it anymore cause im just getting more mad...Cmon guys you know better than this

I'm going with Bryan partially on this. Its ridiculous to let some stupid powertrippin cops/event staff stop you from going/participating/whatever at games. SJ, you just said how much time and money you've put into this, its all wasted if you stop now. I think this is overreacting.

I understand that this has happened several times, but its been resolved almost every time. I think it is ridiculous to let one person thats power tripping ruin a great student group. This is just minor opposition, which will go away eventually once they get used to things being different.
