Well...we were warned...on the Splash Page...of network upgrades work this weekend...and if I recall...the outages would be short-lived. So much for that thought...almost 3 hours later. Cannot get on Libertyflames.com...cannot access email. I feel LOST!

(of course, it could be worse. I could be on-campus and hosed by not being able to access off-campus sites such as FlameFans)

It's a pretty major and complex upgrade they're working on this weekend. Such things sometimes don't go as expected. I can assure you those guys would rather not be working right now.

Well, hopefully my DLP professor will be lenient. I have to leave the house now and haven't been able to do any my assignment that is due by this evening. I had allotted the 2:30-6pm block to get it done (should have been plenty of time for my discussion board entry). We'll see what happens.

I was aware it was a major upgrade...but I was also aware of the announcement to "check back often" as the outages would be sporadic and short-term.

(of course, as soon as I posted...the LU system is back up and working).
