put this in another thread but it belongs here:

speaking of UNCA- watched part of their first half vs. the Tarheels last nite.

actually played pretty well for the first 15 min, then went cold from the floor AND the FT line

the real killer seemed to be their lack of a transition game. At one point, UNC lead in transistion scoring 15-0

biggest reason: Kenny George can't get down the floor fast enough- full court press is very effective on them.

This is a pretty decent Bulldogs squad- but, like us- inconsistent. We need an effort like the guys put out agains George Mason.

I was impressed by UNCA last night. George definitely is a game changer, and they have some good guards and shooters. Should be an entertaining game.

The big thing I was waiting for as far as uniforms is the new RED Jerseys but also the new white Nikes with Red stripes. I told you guys it was no big deal to us but I didn't want to let the cat out of the bag for the players. They also didn't know they had new white jerseys on Tuesday night until they went back into the locker room after their 1st segment of warmups.
