Oakwood CC closes golf course

Oakwood country club is closing the golf course. I used to work grounds crew there, it wasn't the greatest course, but it was a nice setting. Never played after the renovation, though. Me and the wife made some nice memories there. It will be missed, by at least a few.

i really liked that new 9 hole layout. oakwood's membership has been dwindling for years, so it is really no surprise.
