I don't know how I missed this but here we go:

Andrew Cook

Liberty alum from the class of 2000 (1993-2000...I squeezed 4 years into 6 1/2)

Turn on's include: Egg Nog, girls that remind me of Kristy Swanson or Melissa Theuriau, 80's style rap karaoke, Corey Haim/Corey Feldman movies, and bacon

Did you play against us back in the day?

Welcome scottie, many of us on here have only been following LU's teams since we became students. There are a lot of current students on this board as well.

Ok, a couple of questions for AZjonz.

Have you met Lec Coble yet? He was one of my roommates at LU and he works for KOLD there in Tuscon. I'm sure he'd love to meet up with another LU alum.

And you list your occupation as "energy trader". As someone rather intimately familiar with the energy business I am curious who you would be working for in the Sonoran desert. Can you fill me in?

Cool. No problem. I haven't met Lec Coble, but I do watch Channel 13 news here. What does he do?

As an Energy Trader I work for Unisource Energy Corporation (or Tucson Electric Power – I buy/sell on the real-time market to meet load demand and to trade purely for financial gain (well you hope anyway). What do you do for the Energy Business?

Not that Im aware of...my HS did not have a very good team when I was there. (We started getting really good in the last 2 or 3 years). I have a feeling that we could step up to out of state competition here in the next couple years if we continue improving.

He's the Creative Services Director at that station. The News Director there is also a longtime friend of mine from back early in my television career. I'll see if I can scare up his email address for you when LU comes ot town for various sporting events (which has happened a great deal the past couple of years).

I live in the land of Enron, Dynegy, et al. I understand completely.

In addition to my broadcasting work, I work for a strategic communications firm as a consultant and energy companies that I can't reveal are some of our major clients. I also have a brother-in-law who is an analyst & trader for Shell.

Good stuff Sly – thanks. I like FF as it helps to keep me connected to LU. Hopefully others from this area will sign on and introduce themselves. I have a big BBQ pit that can make some decent ribs for game day!

Hi, all. I hope you guys don't mind another Presbyterian fan joining your board. There's enough of you Liberty people on our board that I thought I might return the favor.
