I know Scorcho referenced is, and I know we have other TMZ readers on here, so let's talk about it.

Chick finally went crazy. Holy crap. WWTDD posted a transcript of what happened with this tagline:
Wow, so OK magazine has put together a timeline of everything they know about last night, and if I had to describe it in one word, it would be, HOLY S---!
Who would've thought that Kevin Federline would get sole custody of the kids? All she had to do was remain competent and she'd be able to see her kids and she couldn't even do that.

7 p.m.: K-Fed's security team arrives to pick up boys Sean Preston and Jayden James and bring them back to their father's house. When there is a delay in releasing the boys, Britney's assistant, Carla, makes excuses for the pop star. However, it soon becomes clear that there is a problem.
At some point, 2-year-old Sean Preston is removed from the house, leaving only little Jayden inside with his mother.

8 p.m.: The police are notified of a custodial situation at Britney's house and officers are dispatched to The Summit. But when they arrive, they find that the court-appointed monitor, who has been locked out of the house, is not in possession of the paperwork required to allow them to enter Britney's house.

9:20 p.m.: K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan arrives at The Summit with the required paperwork. He and five police cars enter the gated community and drive up to Britney's house.

10:30 p.m.: More than a dozen police officers, as well as two ambulances and a handful of fire rescue trucks are now on the scene. Sometime before 11 p.m., Britney's cousin Alli and Brit's assistant Carla leave the house, leaving Brit alone with Jayden James.

11:45 p.m.: Britney is taken out of her home strapped to a gurney and placed into an ambulance, which is escorted by 13 police cars with sirens blaring to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, arriving at approximately 12:30 a.m. Jayden is brought to the hospital in a separate vehicle.
They said she was having such a breakdown that she would go from laughing to hysterics in a split second.
“They had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics,” the source adds, calling it “a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy."
Another Spears pal tells Us: "I guess she has good days and bad days - it's mental instability. All she has is to think of something sad and she goes crazy.”

TMZ has even more evidence now that this is NOT a case of substance abuse. As we already reported, we're told Brit has all the symptoms of what appears to be some sort of bipolar disorder. This is becoming the universal operating theory from people in both Brit and K-Fed's camps. They are privately hoping the docs properly diagnose her at Cedars.

Just because she may be diagnosed as bi polar, it really doesn't mean a thing. If she is bi polar she has to take her medicine to control it and trying to convince some people they are bi polar and need to take his or her medicine is like trying to convince a drunk they are an alcholic. My girfriend in Fl her sisters and neice are bi polar but to try and convince them they are and they need to take their medicine, is like talking to a wall.

Oh how right you are:
We are hearing from multiple sources that Britney Spears is throwing a fit on the 7th floor of Cedars-Sinai. She is demanding to leave, screaming at the staff, will not lie or sit still, we're told.

We have also been told she has pulled her IV out and is generally out of control. Another source at the hospital tells TMZ she could be heard yelling at various staffers and she was described by nurses as being "difficult."
However:
TMZ has confirmed that Britney Spears has been released from Cedars-Sinai hospital, following an explosive morning in which she was done, done, done with it!

Sources say the hospital released her without notifying any of the principles involved in the ongoing kiddie drama. So, you ask, how could she have been released so quickly, given that she had been declared a danger to herself and others?

We're told the "5150 hold" means that she can be held against her will for a max of 72 hours, but if the hospital determines she is no longer a danger, they can release her before that.

UPDATE: Additional sources now tell TMZ Cedars absolutely made the decision on its own -- without consulting any of the lawyers in the case. We're told it is Cedars policy (and the policy of other California hospitals) to evaluate whether the "danger" has subsided at any point during the 72-hour hold.

As we have reported, even though there is significant evidence that Brit has a bipolar disorder, Cedars cannot hold her against her will to treat such a problem. If doctors

Well, the details are now out. She wasn't on anything illegal...she just cleaned out an entire medicine cabinet of prescription and OTC drugs. She was released from the Cedars hospital thanks to Dr. Phil. She's been with him since and is taping his show tomorrow, to air Wednesday.

It seems the whole thing started out with a call to K-Fed. He knew something was out of the ordinary (which I must say is quite the impressive skill, given who he was talking to), so he called his lawyers. By the time they called the cops Britney had called her sister in a rage and locked herself in the bedroom with the boys. K-Fed was freaked out because apparently the crazy girl is packin' a Baretta and a Glock in the bedroom. Anyway, the prescription/OTC cocktail was...

2 bottles of Nyquil, 20 diet pills (Clenbuterol), 18 herbal uppers, 18 Piriton antihistamine tablets, 12 Vicodin painkillers, 10 sleeping pills, 8 (+/-) antacid reflux tabs, 1 bottle of Pepto Bismol (:dontgetit), 10 Zantac tablets, 6 Ritalin, and they found 2 empty bottles of Oxycontin. She apparently washed this down with a "purple monster". (Vodka+Nyquil+Red Bull)

If this isn't rock bottom, I don't know what is. Those poor, poor kids.

I know it's just TMZ, but they said Daddy Spears called Dr. Phil, not Britney. Britney's not going to be on the show but her parents are.

Hey, my source was a tabloid. It could all be made up, but I don't really care. Because, no matter what, anything is plausible with her at this point. If someone told me she snorted the entire Dr. Phil show before going clubbing, I'd believe it.

"She tested clean," the source says. "This lady is as clean as clean can be, and has been for some time." The source adds the pop star never threatened suicide during the four-hour standoff at her Studio City home Jan. 3, saying such rumors were "bull----."
Spears, 26, was hospitalized early the morning of Jan. 4 under California's "5150 Hold," in which she was deemed a danger to herself or others and could be held for 72 hours for evaluation. Based on officers' observations at the scene, police said she appeared to be "under the influence of an unknown substance."
Spears left the hospital on Saturday, well before the 72 hours. Patients can be released early if doctors determine they no longer require treatment or evaluation.

So basically the chick is just crazy.

Isn't anybody getting bored with this drama yet? I can't even give it 30 seconds before flicking the channel to just about anything else.

You're confusing the fact that I pay attention to it with the fact that I care about it. I'm a news junky, so I pay attention to most everything. I care about very little of it.

Spears Big 12 Rookie of the Week

Release: 01/07/2008

BOULDER — Colorado freshman forward Brittany Spears has been named the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week by a media voting panel for games of Jan. 2-6, the league office announced on Monday.

Spears captured her first career Big 12 weekly honor and it’s the second Big 12 recognition of the season for the Buffaloes. Sophomore Bianca Smith was named Big 12 Player of the Week on Dec. 10. Spears is CU’s first Big 12 Rookie of the Week since current junior center Kara Richards was honored on Nov. 22, 2004, just after her first two career games.

A native of Pasadena, Calif., Spears helped Colorado register its 10th straight win by scoring 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds in a 65-53 decision over Pepperdine on Jan. 4. She tied a personal-best with seven field goals and made them on just 10 attempts (.700). Spears had an outstanding all-around game by also recording four assists, four steals and one blocked shots.

Colorado is 11-2 overall and off to its best start since 2003-04 and its 10-game run is the team’s best since 1994-95. Spears has played a major role in the Buffs’ success this season. She leads all Big 12 freshmen in scoring (13.5 ppg) and blocked shots (1.3 bpg), while also ranking in the top three in assists, rebounds and steals.

Colorado opens the 2008 Big 12 season by playing at Missouri on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 5:30 p.m. MST in Columbia, Mo.

And now...look at her teammate!
