I forgot to post this....this is great news....I'm really glad to see him get a shot...regardless of athletic ability or how he looks doing his job anyone who averages 1 or 2 errors for you a season and is your single season hits record holder deserves some sort of a shot...maybe he'll surprise some people, heck he tore up every league he's played for in Indy ball...

If he makes Double-A then I might slide down to Corpus to catch him play. Any excuse to catch a game down there is excellent from my perspective. Triple-A Round Rock is even better.

Thankfully Tim Purpura is gone and the mindset of slow progression left with him.
