do not think that is true TD...why would the commonwealth bring charges when they knew he would be sentenced before they would even go to court. i have heard that they may just run his sentences concurrently once it reaches court. i think the commonwealth is just trying to save face since the feds stepped up first. Va. had first crack at him and said there was not enough evidence.

It's like this -- Michael Vick didn't just commit one crime. His crime actually consisted of a bunch of different ones. The feds got him on something like "conspiracy to run an illegal gambling ring across state lines". The state (commonwealth) is looking to get him on "animal cruelty" charges.

I doubt we've seen the last of Michael Vick. I find it impossible to believe that Vick won't at least practice with a team whenever he does get out. Arthur Blank has pretty much said he won't be a Falcon again, which is understandable, but out of 31 other teams, SOMEBODY is going to check him out. Did anybody think we'd see Ricky Williams again? I realize they are two TOTALLY different cases, but there is always room for a second chance in the NFL I believe.

my point was TD said he did not think the state charges would happen now that a federal sentence was handed out. i know what pleas and what charges were filed, but thanks RTF and Dantes attorneys at law.
