After losing most of their early games and the loss to LU and blowout loss to WU, ECU has now beaten George Mason and N.C. State on the road. Weird.

East Carolina has talent. I would take Gabe Blair and Fields (2 very athletic big men) in a heart beat. Their guards can hurt you if they start knocking down shots from outside because they can all get to the basket. The State game was played at East Carolina and that is why the Majors don't like to go on the road because they can and will get beat by lesser teams many times. The George Mason game was on a neutral site and talent wise Mason is not much better than East Carolina. They are just coached very very well and they usually have the other team playing Mason basketball. Glad ECU is winning though. I know coach McCarthy pretty well and I'd like to see him keep that job. I don't think it will happen though.
