Woke up to 3 degrees and a high of 22. We got 5 inches of snow and they are saying much more to come today. I love winter until February, then it is 2 months too long in MN.

the snow differential between Lynchburg and really anywhere else in VA is truely amazing. I don't understand why we don't ever get any precipitation in the winter. It always goes to the NorthEast of us.

I live in Detroit, but I do like some winter. It is just too long up here. Come mid February, I am ready to be done with it. If winter really ended mid March, it would be perfect. The problem is that it usually doesn't warm up (by warm up I mean 60+)till closer to May (although we do usually have some nice April days).

Give me a good winter from November till the end of February, after that it gets REAL old!!

Also, I HATE winter if you get little to no snow with it. If it is going to be cold, let it snow, snow, snow!

I love winter. Of course, we are supposed to have a cold front move in tonight it is going to drop to a low 55 degrees. The sad part of that is people around here will act like it is 20 below and were ski jackets.
