I was at that game. It was pretty loud. Although the Uconn fans were too.

So more info from a non-UNC fan on his first trip to Cameron:
"First, I couldn’t believe how small the building was. After years of watching games played at Duke, I knew their stadium was small, but until walking inside, I really didn’t have any clue just how small it was. It looked like an old high school arena that had been working out with free weights for a few weeks."

....

""How'd they do that?" I would often wonder. I found out during my maiden visit to Cameron. And little did I know that the Cameron Crazies are about as spontaneous as Al Gore."

....

"I picked it up and saw written in bold letters at the top: “Duke vs. Wake Forest: Crazies Cheer Sheet”. I asked my friend Will, a rare non-loser Dukie, what this was all about. 'Oh yeah, the Crazies send out their cheers on a listserv before the game,' he said. 'They coordinate their craziness.'
Coordinated craziness? Isn't that an oxymoron? You can't plan to be crazy - just ask Mariah Carey. This stuff just sort of happens.
'So that’s why the Dukies didn’t say anything to me!' I said. If it wasn’t on that sheet, they didn’t know it. They couldn’t say anything about the game because they didn’t know anything."

which is exactly why I'm against the Liberty cheer sheets mentioned in the bball forum. Boo cheer sheets.

I wish they would do that in the Vines.

It's the way college basketball was meant to be.

Right now we have kids that know absolutely nothing about the team or what to do. Hopefully we won't need cheer sheets at all of the games, or even more of a few, but to get things started, we need them.

Again, that's mainly just the one side, opposite the scorer's table, where the crazies are, that we see on TV. The rest of the stadium doesn't stand that much.

But, I also agree in that I wish the student section in the Vines would stand the whole game. It would completely change the atmosphere.
