If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

I grew up liking the Braves, Falcons, Hurricanes and Bulls.

In collegiate sports, I always liked VT, however I know several people who like VT football and Duke basketball, OR UNC basketball and Tennessee football...I have no problem with it, since they didn't attend any of those schools. However, I think we can all agree that LU is (or should be) #1 always, no matter who they play or in what.

While I disagree with ya Smoothie on the part about no use for an LU avatar, I can understand YOU using a UVA avatar since you actually went there.

Explain VT football/Dook basketball. Sure they weren't conference rivals when kids were younger, but they are now, and people should pick one of the other.

I know this was not directed my way...but I fit the bill and can explain my rationale....
...I was a Tech FBL fan from way back in the Don Strock years when I lived in BBurg.
...I followed Duke since Jim Spanarkel played for them.
...Have rooted against UNC in MBB in ACC play...well since...forever as long as I can remember.

How would you feel if I came on here and said I like Liberty football, Winthrop basketball, and Coastal baseball? You'd call me a bandwagon fan. It's the same thing.

And Posty, I agree about the avatars, unless it's the summer.
this is exactly how i see it...pro teams and college teams are two totally different things...unless you cheer for like the Patriots, Yankees, and Lakers...then I know you are an idiot and jump on every bandwagon there is (though there seems to be less and less Laker fans...hmmm wonder why that is)
Not always true, I like the Cowboys, Yankees, and Miami Heat. If you didn't know better you'd say I'm a bandwagoner, but I'm not. I like the Heat because I used to not have an NBA team, then I lived in South Florida, and started going to some Heat games. Thus becoming a Heat fan, and I still am even though they are pretty bad this year. My grandad and my dad both liked the Cowboys and Yankees, so I grew up following them as well, even through the rough years.
i have no problem with this.

I did, my granddad and dad both liked them, and were always watching them so I kind of naturally became a fan.
