Some of those schools were in their conference and they had no choice but to play them. But they tried to get Michigan and schools like that on their schedule, but those schools didn't want to play them. I read that on ESPN somewhere...but too lazy to go back and look for it.

its because of their location.

they only schedule 1 away game east of the mississippi a year. and every other year that away game is against bobby bouche and louisiana tech. the rest of their non conference games they usually schedule at home. no team wants to do that.

like i said before you get to pick your schedule. its not anyone's fault where you are physically located but thats is what it is. meanwhile their conference is one big turd pie. and their non conference games were garbage teams. what case do they have for a national championship,....if they had decimated these teams then maybe but as medic pointed out....these craptastic teams were putting up 25pts a game on hawaii....hawaii having to eek out last minute victories...no way....

Michigan chickened out of a game at the Big House with Hawaii. That's how App St got the game.

michigan's schedule was already one of the tougher ones in the nation. top 20 i believe. given that osu and wisconsin had much easier schedules already, loydd carr nixed the hawaii game. it was all him. it was apparently a done deal until he had a fit about it. they weren't afraid of hawaii,

think about it logically,

if you give yourself such a hard schedule while the only other big ten contentders schedule cupcakes, you are putting yourself at a disadvantage. obviously this backfired but before hand it was good strategizing on carr's part. he just forgot you actually have to coach for that first game...

Someone tried to tell me he was the next Tom Brady today... I think you're closer, though, he's another Timmy Chang. He'll get a sniff at the end of the draft next year and then he'll show up in the CFL or something within 2 years.

He's a better RB than QB. He probably has a future in some kind of running back role.

All the BCS assures is the 1 v 2 match-up...the rest are up to the Bowls. Obviousy, Hawaii was a sezy pick...and the Rose wanted to keep the traditional match-up.

TDDance234 wrote:Not allowing VT in to the discussion is a joke.

They are ranked higher than both LSU as of last week in the BSC and beat a higher ranked team in BC than LSU did with UT. Georgia didn't even win their conference for crying out loud, they shouldn't have the opportunity to play for a national championship.
another :koolaid drinking tech fan....cmon TD you are better than that!! remeber that beatdown in baton rouge? that is why VT is eliminated. now go root for duke or carolina basketball as most of you VT fans do.

As the game announcers said during one of the UF game this year that Tebow reminded him of Bobby Douglas. The QB from Kansas in the late 60s who was drafted by the Chicago Bears as a QB. I will let everyone looks up his career in the NFL. June Jones has said of all his QB at UH Colt has the best potential to make it in the NFL. Being in a system is one thing producing in a system is another. Tebow is in a system, where his running is an important as passing, where as Colt offensive system is predated on passing first and foremost. I would put my money on the fact Colt will have a better NFL career as a passer then Tebow. Just my 2 cents worth

My college football team is the Georgia Bulldogs. But LSU is 10 times better this year than Tech. remember that beat down in death valley this year? and remember that choke job against my boys from my home state the Georgia Dogs last year?

No. If you're going to claim to be a Carolina fan, you can't claim to be a Georgia football fan. Pick one and stick to it.
