Pretty interesting, I am assuming that Osborne didn't think he would be back on the recruiting trail at 70....

Osborne said in a radio interview with the Husker Sports Network on Wednesday that he hoped to have a new coach selected by next week. He already interviewed Buffalo coach Turner Gill and LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini and spoke informally with Wake Forest coach Jim Grobe, according to media reports.

I mean- from what I can see he's done ok at Buffalo, but talk about a step up

medic...im sure you know who turner gill is right? nebraska wants to keep in the family, but both pelini and gill lack head coaching experience. so either is risky, but you have to trust tom osborne. he knows what he is talking about.

yes he could make a mistake, but he may still be sharp as a tack and either guy could be the next bob stoops. i think either choice is risky, but it's the big 12.....i do not care.
