Yea...they do not look to bad...hate to see a draw of a west coast team. Lets hope we are ready to go, do not let them intimidate us and play our game!

I do like the fact that Cal has to travel across the country and we drive a couple hours.

I cant say this is that bad of a draw...Pinder mentioned early on maybe Clemson and they are 20 in the country and Cal is 18...not a huge difference....

Whats sad though is we werent to far off from getting Duke (28 in the country)....American is 80 in the country and we are not but a few spots behind them in the polls and they landed Duke

Duke is the place we went to the last time I went to the Volleyball Tourny...it was a very fun place to watch it at and we sat with Boozer!

Mary Allice Pike is from Durham. Maybe her folks can rustle up a crowd for the game.

In her sophomore year of youth volleyball, Kallie played the Golden Bear Volleyball Club nearly every weekend in Anaheim, California. The Golden Bear Volleyball Club is from Berkeley, but they played in the Southern California Volleyball Association that year because the northern volleyball association was to weak for their level of talent.

With pride let me say, Kallie's club team routinely beat them that year! Kallie has seen those Golden Bear uniforms (identical to the Cal uniforms) many times, and she is not intimidated! In fact I would say she has positive/confident memories.

On paper, they are a very good team, but we can play with them! Sure, they have talent, but we have talent of our own. The game is played on the court, not on paper! Our skill, grit, heart, unity, creativity, coaching, and will to win can bring the victory home! PLUS... this will be a home game for us.

Liberty in five tough games.

GO LIBERTY!!!

Cal is ranked 10th in the RPI, 7th in the coaches poll. They took Stanford to 5 games early in the year. I was watching one of their matches on TV tonight just before the pairings show. They obviously are very good, but they did look human. If they take us for granted, we may be able to sneak past them.

Durham is only about 1.5 hours from us, so I think Nicki might get a good following from here to go watch. It's only 2 hours from Liberty, so hopefully we'll be able to pull a decent group from there as well.

Sorry to all you West Coast guys who have the long haul if you can make it.

Does anyone know the game time on Friday?

The best flight from Portland to RDU would get us in at 4pm.

These's girls are on a mission, and they are gonna shock the world.

I won't predict a win or a loss. But I think these girls are gonna scare the Bears.
