kyle and rus are playing well in my opinion. tj and justin seem a little out of control. our offense is...well...nothing.

uk has definitely hit some shots. we should be lucky we're only down this much at the half. i hope ritchie gets them fired up for the 2nd half.

When I say we're taking some good shots, I mean shots that aren't Larry Blair shots. We're shooting open threes when we get them, they're just not going in. We've missed God only knows how many layups. We're not forcing things that aren't there. You played basketball and sometimes know that sometimes the shots just don't fall, but you have to keep shooting them. That's what they're doing and hopefully they'll start falling soon.

excellent statement. this is, and can be, a respectable game for us. win or not (and it IS possible to win this game), we are capable of playing better basketball in the second half. if they're going to hit the 3, we need to get a hand up on the perimeter. there's going to be a block or foul one with mcclean and rus defending down low.

i don't think taking the 3 is a bad idea for us... even after 1/14. i think maybe ritchie should set us up for a few 3's. i think a missed 3 that was meant to be taken is commendable. i feel like the 3's going up right now are desperation in non-desperate points in the game.
