Wed play the best team within 300 miles of LU, just a guess

Wed be the last team in, although ags is really hitting the 7 wins thing so I doubt we get it

I dont think Nova makes it either

I seriously doubt a 7-4 team makes it, but if theres one its not Nova

'Nova has NO shot- though now that I think about it- I think we needed them to knock off UD for us to have any chance.

so I guess its good for us that they won :dontgetit

They really don't know any more than we do. Keep in mind Coastal's AD is on the committee and will be lobbying for us.

I still say our chances are very slim, but we still have a shot...either way I am happy with the direction the program is going....

I'm trying to figure out the situation from what AGS has posted but the guy who is formating it the easiest seems to be using the term "eligible" which is not correct as we all know.

His thing is easy to get but I dont see 5 CAA teams getting in and if they are looking at all the teams then alot more teams are in the mix. YSU, LU and many others arent on that list because of the 7 win thing

McNeese State (10-0) - later
Wofford (8-3) - Idle
Massachusetts (9-2) - won 27-5

clinched

Montana (11-0)
Northern Iowa (10-0)
Delaware State (10-1)
Eastern Kentucky (9-2)
Fordham (8-3)
McNeese State (10-0)
Wofford (8-3)
Massachusetts (9-2)

So 8 spots left after them

Then we've got the assumed to be in:

Richmond (9-2)
Delaware (8-3)
Southern Illinois (10-1)
Appalachian State (8-2)
Eastern Illinois (8-3)
James Madison (8-3)

so 2 spots are open

Alabama A&M (8-2) - losing
New Hampshire (7-4) - won
Norfolk State (8-3) - won
Villanova (7-4) - won
Colgate (7-4) - lost
San Diego (9-1) - losing
Dayton (10-1) - Idle
Holy Cross (7-4) - won
Hofstra (7-4) - lost
Albany (8-3) - won
Lafayette (7-4) - won
South Carolina State (7-4) - won
Eastern Washington (7-3) - winning

and then I would include us as well

I guess in the thought that the CAA won't get 4 in, you'd leave out DE or JMU. Everybody seems to give JMU the nod instead so who am I to disagree.

Look, the AGS people can talk all they want about the seven-win thing. But why would the NCAA even tell Liberty it was being considered if that was a hard rule?

They're either going to have to take a 7-4 team or take a team without 7 DI wins. And Eastern Illinois does not deserve to go. 12th rated conference in FCS. No good wins. A bad loss to Illinois State. Second place in that league. I'd vote a 7-4 from the CAA before I'd vote for EIU. But that's just me.

Ohhh 6-7?? Man, wrap it up then 😭
