does anyone have any info on this team? Their game scores are not routinely posted and there isn't much news on their site.

don't know where the communication gap is, but since its a club team- its understandable that they don't have anyone dedicated to PR.

Well, to be fair, most women are still learning to use the Internet, so you can't expect scores to be updated that regularly.

(If that comment doesn't bring them out of the woodwork, I don't know what will.)

BTW: I've updated their stickied Schedule page ; after doing more browsing I see they've changed the season schedule AGAIN (3rd time) and have posted results- though they don't include game dates on the results page so I had to attempt to correlate both.

Evidently we're currently 7-4, with several BIG wins (Penn State, Ohio State and NC State)

this info came from the champion, but the ladies killed penn state 13-0 and the U19 carolina hurricanes 9-1 and 4-1. congrats to the ladies.

the ladies are on a tear- winning the last 5 in a row and outscoring their oppenents by a combined total of 26-4

they are the highest ranked independant team, have more points than anyone else (32) and have 110 goals for vs. 43 goals against .

In addition, the Lady Flames have two players TIED for #1 in individual points at 51 apiece in Kristin Frescura and Andrea Joyce, with Brooke Harris rounding out the top 10.

Joyce and Frescura are currently #1 & 2 in goals scored, with Brooke Harris T-8th

We also dominate the Assist Standings: Frescura#1 , Joyce#3 , Aimee Hureau T-4, and Habibullah T-10

Hey guys listen thanks for all you are doing and trying to follow our team stats and everything. It is hard being a club team and both coaches work full time jobs plus I still go to school at LU, we have no help and no support for the school, so the sites can only get updated when I do it, so I apologize I will try and get more stuff done. I didn't realze we even had anyone following our team. But your right we are having a great season.

When it comes to hitting, there is usually plenty of that, we have even had a few fights this season. We have two girls who lead the nation in points and one girl who leads the nation in penalty minutes, so we have lots to offer fans.

Come on out the games tonight at LaHaye Center.

I would love to find someone who could up-date our website. I'm not going to lie, I try and do it and well its not always successful, I know nothing about computers or internet, lol. Makes for some interesting times. I even get frustrated entering scores on the internet after we beat a team.

Ohh by the way the girls won tonight 8-0 It was an okay game, the girls played real sloppy hockey but still managed to come out on top, we did find a couple girls on this U-19 team that we would be interested in talking too about coming to Liberty to play for us, so we shall see how that happens.

Just thought everyone one want to know, I had some time today to go onto our Liberty Site and update the scores on there. So everything is entered and up to date on the ACHA website and Libertys. Joyce and Frescura are now so far of anyone else in points I bet it will be a real challenge for someone to catch them. Also Harris has moved up very well with a couple big showings in the last couple weekends, she has probably gained over 20 points in the last 4 or 5 games. She has really set in and started to shine.

Also our reqruiting we did over Christmas Break is starting to pay off, we have a reqruiting weekend in April and I'm proud to announce we have sent out over 70 invitations to grade 12 and 11 girls looking for good places to play with a solid education. I'm also excited to announce that as of this moment we have 14 confirmed new players for next years roster. I hope to finish by adding another 6-10 more players.

I'm excited we have players coming from British Columbia, Ontario, New Jersey, Ohio, New York, Virginia, Maryland and of course we entered a new world we have one girl coming from Europe. I'm happy to say that Frescura and Joyce will both have a real tough time stsaying on top of Libertys team next season. The more we reqruit the more talent will end up coming.

We have even considered in the long run if everything works out and we can get over this tough slump financially we are in. We would like to add a second team to compete in the Division II level.

This up and coming season should be a real excitment for people to watch, I hope we can find some new avenues of fundraising. As we continue to grow it will only end up costing more and more money. We managed to get through this season because Dad and I bought a 15 passenger van in order to make our road trips, however one van wont hold the whole team next season, so we are in real need of some huge finances. Please continue to pray for our team and my Dad and I as we continue to fight our way through all this tough stuff.
