checked LiveStats, and-sure enough!

First game was close, then we obviously took the fight right out of them!

looks like another good game from Cheline McCarty and Ashley Webber: 684 and 667 hitting %

Pike at .500, Nelson and Corbin both at .400 or better! :clapping

This had to be the best match I have seen Jess play. You could sense her confidence on the court. She was seeing the blocks and holes well and put the ball just where it needed to be. Her serves were really good, too. Her digging was great as usual. Chelaine was nothing short of spectacular. I called her dad during the game and told him that she was brutalizing the Bulldogs. He said that lots of the girls had great hitting percentages, but I told him the difference was that Chelaine was hitting with such power that you could see the other team just be in shock. She was truly brutalizing them. Ashley did'nt get a lot of sets, but she made the absolute most of them. She hit the ball hard today, too. At the beginning of game 3, you could see that Asheville was flat and seemed to have given up. They didn't have the sense of urgency and smiles they had in game 1.

There were girls from a Christian JO team there today to root them on and they met with them after the match. It's nice going to a place and having fans from their area coming to root for us because of the Christian connection.
