I would be lying if I thought this was going to be a blow out...but the only sure thing for me about this series was that the Red Sox would win Game 1....Josh Becket is just pitching too good right now

I agree, but I think the Sox can go 2-1 in Colorado, at worst 1-2 because they sure as heck wont beat Beckett in game 5. I see them beating Dike-K in the frigid Denver air, but both teams throw out guys who havent started in the playoffs yet, so game 4 is a tossup. I don't really know anything about Lester, anyone have the skinny on him? Even if they go 1-2, the Rockies have to beat either Schilling or Dice-K in Boston, and if Schilling is dealing like he did last night then they the Rox are probably going to lose to him again. Going to be very tough for the Rockies to win the series now. Last night's game was extremely critical for both teams.

ps....I think the fact that this is the weakest NL in the past decade is showing to be true....people brought up St Louis and Florida last time I talked about the weak NL...but come on..the NL this past year is so much weaker then it has been in recent memory...

well aaron cook isn't proven as a starter either, sure he did relatively well earlier in the year, but he hasnt pitched since august 10th, so he's got a lot to prove now in my opinion.
