He doesn't join the team till monday....someone can foot the bill for a flight here and then to miami if they wanted him bad enough..

Wait, whose the most famous? Gus Condon?
I thought maybe Ken Karcher himself was making an appearance........

I was saying Eric Green.
I would argue that Dwayne Carswell should be our number 2, followed by pro-bowler Wayne Haddix, before getting to Samkon.

As I type this, Sam is driving and on his way from Houston to Miami. Please say a little prayer for him so he'll get there safely. I spoke with his college best friend, Jay Cline and he told me that Sam would be making that trip today and probably tomorrow. Sly, how far of a drive is it from Houston to Miami?

GADO ADDED TO ROSTER: The Dolphins were awarded running back Samkon Gado off waivers from the Houston Texans last week, a day before the team left for London, and the NFL gave Miami an exemption that expired on Tuesday. He was signed today and to make room for him on the 53-man roster, defensive tackle Sam Rayburn was released.

"You have half a season to go. You're going to need more than three running backs on your roster. I believe that," Cameron said. "He's a big, physical guy. He's a guy who's played. He became available and we thought it was the best thing for us."

With the Texans, the 24-year-old Gado played in three games, all in a reserve role, and rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown on 18 attempts and caught eight passes for 59 yards, The 5-foot-10, 225-pounder originally signed with Kansas City as an undrafted college free agent in 2005 but was released before the regular season. Gado caught on with Green Bay and rushed for 582 yards and six touchdowns on 143 attempts and added 10 pass receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown, with his best performance coming against Detroit (171 yards and a TD on 29 carries).

Interestingly enough he is listed as #27 on their roster. Strange because I don't se a #35.

27? Must be a Joe Girardi (or a Yankee) fan.

That name certainly means something to any Texans on the board.

I was referring to those who consider the Lone Star State their home.

And yes, the Texans have sold out every game in their brief existence despite a bad product.

He's actually back with the Dolphins again. He may even be activated this week with Chapman out.
