I said it would go 7...and as a Red Sox fan I am always scared to say they will pull it out, so I said Indians in 7....so I was glad I was wrong....

I know there is a lot of love for the Rockies right now...but they do play in the national league....much weaker then the AL....but it should be a good series....should go 6

Yes the water tasted very good last night!!!! I got my fingers crossed for being able to attend a game....I got a buddy who has been camping out since last night outside of Fenway to get tickets.....The Indians played us very tough after games 3 and 4 the heart rate had gone up pretty high....I am just glad that the rest of the team found there bats for games 5,6, and 7!!!! Let's Go Sox

Why is everybody a Red Sox fan? Everyone I work with is obsessed with them. And when you call them out on it, they come up with some lame connection to the area. "Well my Mother's uncle is from Brookline, and I went there one time to his funeral so as you can see, I have a heavy Sawks influence." I'm not saying you have to have some connection (obviously I'm a Bengals fan and I've never even set foot in Cincinnati), but I just think bandwagons in general are funny.

That's funny. You got a mouse in your pocket? Us? Did I miss you in the dugout? Anyone else see him on the field.

Yes. I hate to admit it, as a Yankee fan, but they are the new America's team.

You're 23, what were you a fan of for the first 13 years?

I never went to a game and never really liked a team...I played baseball until the 4th grade and stopped playing after I got glasses.....Right after that time the strike happened and then my brother n who is from Boston moved here got me hooked when I was 13.....

I hope they take it this year as I was able to get to two games in person this year, since the Democratic National Convention shutting down Boston when I was up jacked me out of seeing them in person in the summer of '04. ("Ah, don't worry about it, Peter, they won't win this year, just like the last 86"...famous last stinkin' words.)

But I digress...

One at Boston's second homefield: Camden Yards. Saw Willy Mo Pena rip a grandslam (got it on tape by serendipity) and watched as 2/3's of the stadium in red and blue erupted in cheers for the BoSox.

One at Fenway about twenty rows back between home and third versus the Rangers. That dirty water tasted mighty fine then, and I hope that it tastes just as good in 5.

The big question is if the bats stay awake versus the Rockies...the stat from June is a little disconcerting...but the last few games have softened that stat for me.

(All said I would like to see a repeat of '04, but the realist in me nags me that it will be more nerve racking than that.)
