Linebacker Nick Hursky practiced Monday and Tuesday and worked with the first team defense, so all indications are that he’ll be ready to go Saturday. Hursky, the starting Mike linebacker, tore the meniscus in his right knee in practice three days before the St. Francis game, and he was expected to miss up to a month, which could have meant four games. To get him back after just two missed games would be a huge boost for the Flames.

Tailback Zach Terrell is expected to play as well. He’s been wearing a full cast in practice and will sport a splint on his broken right wrist during the game. Rocco is still figuring out how best to use him this week, depending on how well he can carry and protect the football with the splint.

So quote all but one sentence of the meat of the article?

And that one sentence is the one I wanted to know.

Ironic. :P

We cannot quote full articles, so I quoted the two paragraphs most people care about, and left the rest (the intro and the last lines) off.

Here's the extended version in the morning fishwrap:
LU Notebook: Linebacker expected to play at Charleston

By Chris Lang
Lynchburg News & Advance
October 17, 2007

When Liberty linebacker Nick Hursky left practice with a knee injury Sept. 26, both Hursky and LU coach Danny Rocco were worried that the linebacker would miss at least a month, if not more, meaning he would be out up to four games.

But they also set up an aggressive rehabilitation timeline in hopes Hursky might be able to hit the field sooner. It's worked. Monday, he participated in practice for the first time since the injury, and he's expected to return to the field in time for Saturday's Big South opener at Charleston Southern.

like the hair.

Will be great to have him back- I think his presence in there may have been underestimated. Hopefully he'll continue the great season he's been having.

Will be great to have these guys back. Hursky has been a beast. Don't forget Medic that Hursky was playing during the W&M and Elon games where the defense played bad as well.
