My prayers are with your dad this morning...
...may God be with the doctors, nurses, and the rest of the surgical staff...and may He place His healing hand on your dad.

thanks so much for all the prayers. despite some early complications, dad came through fine and is resting in his room. the doctors say the surgery went very well, and he should be able to go home on friday, but he still has a ways to go. please continue to pray, but again thanks to all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and my dad and mom say thanks too.

If they are letting him go home that is very telling. We'll continue to keep him in our prayers.

went to see dad and he is improving fast. he walked today and has to at least three more times today. he had his first meal this afternoon and depending on how all of that goes and he may go home tomm. he has also stopped the morphine as well. i can tell you that it seems like hospitals want you in and out very soon. praise to God for what He has done.

great news.

and you are correct about hospitalization.

much like your mechanic has a book giving him the going rate and hrs for any job- hospitals go by a set schedule defining how long a stay you are to be afforded specific to your illness.

thank you, managed health care.

anyway- glad to hear about your dad!
