Whatever it was that he had at the end of last year has to come back. He knows that, the staff knows that, we all know that. It's just a matter of figuring it out.

From a sheer stats outlook though the VMI game wouldn't be "great" IMHO. I think Brock needs to work on the mechanics basically and take a deep breath. When you throw the ball high consistently i think that part can be fixed but he needs to amp down a bit as well i think and focus.

There were two "Come to Jesus" meetings yesterday. The first was with Coach Rocco and was pretty general.

The second was players only and was led by SRL. Others spoke as well, and from what I hear Monday's practice was one of the best overall practices this season.

Although St. Francis may not pose a huge threat this weekend, it's imparitive that THE FANS get behind our guys. We all need to do everything in our power to fill the Bill on Saturday night. If I was the athletic department I would do whatever I could to increase the attendance at this game. Good to Great doesn't just happen on the field...we have to do our part as well.

I, like every one else, was pretty ticked after Elon, now, I'm ready to move forward and do my part to help LU finish big!

You are right, Rocco may be in a state of deliberation, but he hasn't got much time. The team should look FABULOUS on Saturday against a weak opponent, but Toledo will be a totally different story. If Rocco isn't going to make an offensive change, I sure hope he makes some changes on defense. Rocco is 8-7 as a Head Coach at this point. I'd hate to see him fall below .500 with the talent he has.

If we find a way to have a consistent rushing game, as we did in those games, Brock's numbers might look a bit different. One of the big differences between W&M and Elon was that we weren't able to generate rushing yardage. When we were running through the W&M defense, the passing game was much more successful.

On a side note- during that last drive of the 4th Q at W&M or in the first OT, didn't we utilize Terrell and Jennings together, with Terrell getting a big gain?
It seems as though these two backs should really complement one another and what better way would there be to open up Brock's game then having a dual threat in the backfield?

We left Brock in too many positions where he had to make a play out of nothing. Get the ball out of his hands. We have guys that are very good at being elusive and getting yards after the catch. If the running game isn't working between the tackles, a wide-receiver screen is just as effective as a running play, in most instances.

Virginia Tech did it beautifully with the Vick family. Brock has a better head on his shoulders than those two goofballs--simplify the procedure, give him one or two looks and if those are closed, give him a safety valve, RJ or ZT out of the backfield. Elon killed us with it.

Once you make a change a QB, you generally stick with it.

Again, we don't know what's in Rocco's mind. If he decides to go with Spencer at some point, it may be wise to keep him out of the fire and wait until after the Toledo game.

Our upcoming schedule looks pretty soft with the exception of Toledo and Gardner-Webb. There would be four games in between Toledo and GW. I think that we can win all four of those games with any of our current QB's. The question that Rocco is going to have to ask himself is: what if we fall behind against GW? Can Brock lead this team to a comeback win?

The question should be.....How do we keep people from passing all over the field??? That is what wins games, the quarterback can be terrible (Chicago Bears anyone?)

Your offensive time of possession is going to either help or hurt your defense. Teams like the Bears, Ravens, ect.. do a good job in this area with "servicable" QB's who manage the clock and make plays every now and then. What was our time of possession in the first half against Elon?
