It seems as if the general consensus in the poll is that Landis will start on Saturday. I've got to wonder how much faith our coaching staff has in him?? He didn't touch the field against W&M (I think??) AND he only went in against Elon late in the game after Brock got hurt. If he is better than Brock, I wonder why Rocco didnt put him in during the first half??

Zach Terrell has played only sparingly over the last couple of weeks, and he's pretty darn good.

The fact that Landis hasn't played doesn't necessarily mean that he's not good--it may mean that the coaching staff has been committed to Brock, at least up until this past Saturday.

Oh, I don't question his talent. I cant, because I haven't seen him play very much. I'm just wondering why the coaches didn't call on him earlier in the game against Elon. I totally understand being committed to Brock and not wanting to ruin his confidence, BUT after his performance during Saturday's first half, I would have had Spencer Landis come in for a few series late in the 2nd Qtr to see what he could get started.

Yea... I agree. That's another mystery. It would have made sense to go in another direction at the start of the second half.

Perhaps, he'll ease Landis in against a lighter opponent like St. Fran.

Maybe we ought to get ready for a changing of the guard at QB this week... St. Francis is a good team to start off against, to get a couple games under the belt before the BSC battle begins. If we are gonna do it, it HAS to be now. Starting him his first game at Toledo is suicide, and starting him after that isn't giving him time to prepare.

I agree. The change (if there will be one..) has to come right now. If someone else is going to take over at QB, they need to take over starting TODAY in practice so that they can get comfortable.

All kidding aside, Rocco's wife is babysitting my kids tonight as she does most Monday nights. Usually Danny stops over to pick her up. Right after that, he usually walks my dog for me. If I want to know something, I usually get the ice cream out just before they're ready to go. Right around the time that I'm about to pour the fudge Danny usually tells me everything.

That said--I think I'm having ice cream tonight---with fudge!

Who is stalking anyone? When you're friends and classmates with someone, you generally know who they're dating. When you tailgate and stand next to said player's girlfriend for an entire game, you know they're dating.

As for ToTheLeft, he heard something from a defensive player earlier in the day. The defensive guys don't know what's going on with the personnel on the offensive side of the ball, especially at 1pm on a Monday afternoon.

Yes, Paradox, I did delete my post because the relationship status of a student-athlete has no business being on this board so I went back and deleted it. As the Ok St coach said, we can criticize a player for what he does on the field, but do not EVER bring a kid's personal life into the mix. What Brock does off of the field is his business.
