2006 (So.): Big South second-team all-conference … Big South Preseason all-conference … I-AA.org Big South Preseason first-team all-conference honoree … led the team in scoring with 78 points … ranks as the sixth-most points scored by a running back in program history and second most by a sophomore … ranked second in the Big South and No. 32 in the nation by averaging 7.1 points per game … led the Flames with 13 rushing touchdowns, marking the sixth-highest rushing total in a season in school history … led the Big South in rushing touchdowns per game … ranked second on the team with 673 rushing yards … ranked third in the Big South by averaging 61.2 rushing yards per game … only had two games without a rushing touchdown (Towson and Wake Forest) … recorded a rushing touchdown in the last six games of the year, including four-multiple rushing touchdown contests … also ranked second on the team by completing 13-of-21 pass attempts for 178 yards … added four receptions for 20 yards … tallied a season-high 175 yards on 29 carries with two touchdowns against Gardner-Webb … recorded 114 yards on 29 carries and two more scores the following week against No. 22 Coastal Carolina, becoming the 12th player in program history to have back-to-back 100-yard games … ended the season tied for 13th in program history with four 100-yard rushing performances … was named the team’s “Offensive Game Ball” winner against VMI where he fought off an injury to rush for 28 yards on six carries and the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.

2005 (Fr.): Big South Rookie of the Year … VaSID Rookie of the Year … Big South first-team all-conference honoree … VaSID second-team all-state selection … Don Hansen’s Football Gazette NCAA I-AA Southeast All-Region team … led the team in rushing with 668 yards … ranked second in the conference in rushing yards per game (60.7 yards per game) … moved from back-up quarterback to starting running back with six games left in the season … posted two 100-yard games to become one of 23 players in school history with multiple 100-yard games … broke the school record for rushing yards by a freshman in a season as he surpassed Dre Barnes’ mark of 654 yards in 2001 … in his first career start at running back, Terrell posted the fifth-most rushing yards in a game in program history with 241 yards and two touchdowns against Chattanooga (10/8) … named Don Hansen’s National Football Gazette’s Weekly Offensive Player of the Week after the Chattanooga game … ended with 128 rushing yards on 18 carries at Gardner-Webb (10/29) … averaged 85.3 yards per game in three starts at running back against conference opponents … finished the year ranked sixth in the league in total offense (722 yards/65.6 yards per game) … ranked second in the conference in all-purpose yards, averaging 83.6 yards per contest … named Big South Freshman of the Week once (Sept. 10) and Offensive Player of the Week once (Oct. 8) … also completed 10-of-16 passes for 54 yards at quarterback, while finishing with 17 receptions for 193 yards as a wide out.
