IMO, he needs to accept the fact he ran away from Liberty for the money and it didn't work out the way he thought.that shows what class he has. that is very disappointing to hear.

I am sure no one here would put something on the thread they knew for sure to be wrong, but how sure are you that this is fact? Sometimes things take on a life of their own.I would count her dad as a legitimate source.
hurricane fan wrote:I would agree with that as well. I know for a fact that the triplets visited and were recruited by G-W, don't know if RR was a part of that or not, but believe he was. I also got it from a VERY reliable source that G-W believed that only one of the girls was a real D-1 player and felt they were going to get only 1 player for 3 schollies. (Of course that was only a couple of days after LU signed them).flameshaw wrote:I am pretty neutral on RR. Is there more evidence than "I heard........." flameshaw wrote:flameshaw ... it wasn't just Gardner-Webb. Just about everyone who was interested in Megan wanted only Megan. With scholarship limitations, not many major conference schools would take a flier on all three, especially if they felt Moriah and Molly weren't top-notch players. So yeah, Liberty was a little lucky in that regard. It played out just about the way most would have expected. Megan was thought to be an impact player right away, and she was. Moriah and Molly were seen more as projects, and neither really their strides until they were juniors.hurricane fan wrote:I would agree with that as well. Thanks for the clarification H'fan.

GW is a breeding ground for any disgruntled former LU employee to go...this is why I said what I did in the MBBl thread about how I'd go to the boys GW game if Reeves, Phillips (who said something after JF's death that made me wish I was a woman so I could handle it myself) and others were behind their bench...what makes me cringe is people still support these people after acts such as this...this isnt the first time things like this has happened, its just the first time they've been made public....they're jerks

GW has gotten closer to beating us each time that we have played and they don't have the talent that we do. It must come down to coaching! Coach Reeves is the reason that team is what it is today! Let's show "class" and gratitude to the man who started it all. Now Coach Green has done his share to keep it going...but all the hard work was done by Reeves.
