The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

I watched the whole game on MASN and as bad as we were in the first half we were that much better in the second. Cary Green made some adjustments (as he is known to do many times) and they played with much more determination. HP was not going to keep up the high FG percentage and we were not going to keep missing easy shots. Rebounding was factor for us as usual.

Dymond Morgan gets my player of the game as she kept us in the game in the first half, shot well, and hustled all over the court.

Amber Mays was in a zone in the second half with 21 points.

Avery Warley was off due to foul trouble but a couple of those fouls were questionable. She should be well rested for tomorrow.

Devon Brown was her usual self out there but I was a little worried when she had that injury but recovered well after that.

I feel that we have momentum coming into tomorrow's game with G/W and we have a number of our starters rested for tomorrow. I think that Cary Green will find out what went wrong in the first 2 games with G/W this year and make some adjustments.

Going to be a dandy tomorrow....too bad I have to work late, can't make the trip up there, but will definitely be watching on Sportsouth before heading in late tomorrow afternoon.

Did anyone pay attention to the interview with KK at half of the GW/Coastal game? He said that three schools made bids for the womens tourney for the next two years and presented this morning.....HPU, Winthrop, and UNC-A. LU and G-W didn't make offers? It was surprising to me at least knowing what we both have coming back next season.

My church has a 9:00 worship service, and then I'm hitting the road for High Point--go Flames!

I'm hoping to catch Pine Ridge online and then head over to the gym in the morning. You guys know that I'm not the biggest women's basketball fan in the world but this team is a fun group of girls. Anytime we've gone to interview them or anytime we've worked a game this year I've left laughing. They have a ton of fun and they're fun to be around. Plus they're pretty good. If you can make it down tomorrow, I'd suggest you do so.

We should do a Flame Fans get together before or after the game at a High Point BBQ joint:

Can any locals tell us which one is the best?

Do we really have co-defensive coordinators?
