I work at ____ and the LU football and basketball teams come in on fairly regular basis to eat. We also get a fair number of the opposing teams spending the night when they're in town, especially football...but I digress. When recruiting, Liberty often puts potential players up here. Coach Layer is having breakfast right this moment with at least one recruit (maybe two). The last name of the recruits father is Brown...anyone know anything?

Sniffed around this morning and didn't see any recruits on our radar with the last name Brown. Could it have been Bowen?

...just realized it probably couldn't be Bowen because according to Scout, he's ended his recruitment and has made a decision w/ Georgetown being on top of his list.

We're talking about 6' 3"...I'm short so I'm sort of a bad judge of height. Good build for what I would assume to be a 2 guard. About 155-165 lbs.

The kid Sly posted the link to is a 11 recruit. Would he even be allowed to do a visit yet?

My guess is Hilton Garden Inn. Kind of an expensive place for players to eat, but where else can you eat and stay that is around campus?

Oh wait, we were guessing about the player weren't we.

I make a certain blonde lots of spending money...and that's as much as I'll say, as if it isn't obvious enough already. Don't want to end up the poster boy for letting personal information slip about clientele, looks bad on the re'sume.

Ok, so I bumped this thread up but may have an answer to this. There was a 6'3 guard named Thomas Brown at Nelson County when they won State. Best player I have seen in the area in over a decade. Had several triple doubles. YOu wouldnt think he had a great game then you would look and see he had 30+ 10 ast and a dozen rebounds. He went to a D II in NC but has since (according to my sources) transferred to LU. He is not on the roster that I saw, so he may being sitting out a year. Someone needs to track him down and put a uniform on him!

Well look what the cat dragged in ... long time no see.

That's an interesting development worth investigating.
