The Liberty University men’s basketball program will be featured as part of ESPNU’s “Pride of the Program” segments with the Flames’ vignette scheduled to air as a part of its January 23rd men’s basketball coverage.

All nine Big South Conference men’s basketball programs have been or will be featured on ESPNU’s season-long “Pride of the Program” vignettes series, which will air on every ESPN, ESPN2 and ESNPU men’s basketball telecast this season.

The segments began November 14 and celebrate a historic moment from each of the 326 Division I programs in alphabetical order. The moments, 30-seconds in length, look back at a significant event in each school’s history and are narrated by ESPNU’s Mike Hall.

Liberty’s segment will air during ESPN’s coverage of Syracuse at Pittsburgh (7 p.m.) and Oklahoma State at Texas (9 p.m.) and ESPNU’s coverage of Alabama State at Southern.

I bet they do something stupid like have it be like our tourney game against St. Joe's. Or if it were falwell related somehow. That would suck. Hopefully it will either be us hanging with UNC (which I think it will be) or us ripping apart HPU (which I hope it is for highlights sake).

My guess is the UNC game. Thankfully I don't even have to flip the channel fromt he Horns game to see this tonight.

It'd be cool if some our more tech-savvy people could record this on their DVR and then post the file online for those who won't be able to see it.

they should have shown "The Dunk" but in lew of that highlight I think they showed the right thing but I just think it was way too short. Good showing by your Texas boys tonight though.

Well SCAR I am sure that you already know this but they are all only 30 seconds long... Yeah Texas starting to look on the upside of things... I will say it again this will be the hardest bracket that I have ever had to fill out...I am watching more west coast games to see who my sleeper will be.... I hit it dead on with Bucknell last year.... I almost have mine picked it's coming soon.

the segement should be on ESPN motion or ESPN 360 if you have access to it. At least that's what I read somewhere.

I'll sign up for ESPN360 when I get home and see if it's there, since it's free with Adelphia cable internet. I'm pretty sure it will be but we'll see.
