It is our first trip to G-W as a Big South opponent in mens hoops. The Bulldogs are just 1-2 at home in league play this season having played 7 of their first 10 Big South games on the road.

Huge game. We can separate ourselves from the rest of the pack with a win.

As I mentioned above, Flittner sat out Saturday's game and I can find no indication of the seriousness of his injury to determine if he'll be playing Wednesday evening. He clearly is a major concern when he is on the floor.

Flittner is out 2-4 more games with a knee injury and is definitely out Wednesday. Big loss for the 'dogs.

This is the first game in over a month that I won't be at. No wonder it felt so weird.

I'll go if I can get some sort of guarantee that former flames will be there sitting behind their bench so I can watch their faces as we beat them

You must have drawn the short straw and got stuck with a Seminole District girl's game tonight....

Why do I have a hard time believing the Hokie was sorry to crack the joke?

Now, now, I'm objective. :) And honestly, if there's one game Virginia might be capable of winning the rest of the season, it may be Feb. 18 against Tech, since the Hokies are so mercurial.

Sorry for the threadjack. Back to the Bulldogs, who for some reason are terrible at home in league and 5-1 on the road. The Flittner injury really is a major setback for GW. CJ Hailey isn't nearly as polished as Flittner, and Aaron Linn has to turn into much more of a scorer than a true point guard. The X-factor for them seems to be Nate Blank, who's been coming off the bench. He's been really up and down of late. I suppose if MacMillan gets going, it could be trouble for LU. But he wasn't a factor at all in the December meeting because he can't defend guards.

If we win tonight we can make a run at the regular season championship. If we lose, well, I'll hope for 3rd.

Jesse Sanders makes his first appearance where his bro was a stud. I'm sure he's chompin at the bit for the game tonight.
