In looking at a couple of the conferences mentioned here, I was somewhat surprised to see how high we would rate based on he NET. There is only ONE team in the A-10 ranked ahead of us. That is VCU, who is 37th, and I believe we have demonstrated we can compete with them. In the AAC we would be in the middle of the pack, behind Cincinnatti, Houston, UCF, Memphis and Temple.

Liberty should never even acknowledged that there is such a conference named A-10. We are better off in ASUN, until the day comes that we join a "bigger" all sports conference. There's nothing for LU to gain by joining A-10, or any northern conference.

I don't think we would gain much more exposure in A-10 than we would in ASUN. I recall when ACC invited Boston College into ACC for the Boston media market. Whatever ACC gained,if anything was eaten up in travel expenses to Boston.
