Marcus White was probably more talented, but only had 2 years, and wasn't in Jesse or Hildo's league as a leader.
If TeeJay played more than one year, he'd top this list no questions.
Woodson probably gets top-5 consideration, top 3? I'm not so sure.

I think by the time Jesse finishes his senior year here, we'll consider him the best PG to ever suit up for the Flames.

I mean if you listed the top point guards in LU history (maybe even Big South history) you could not name three point guards better than Jesse Sanders

Due to my limited context I havent gotten to see a ton of PGs (Jesse, Brian Woodson, TeeJay Bannister are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head) but from what Ive read Hildebrand was pretty special and Jesse has been a game changer in the last 2 1/2 seasons

There have been some good ones. Just @ LU you have Hildabrand, Woodson, White.... overall career stats Sanders has edge on White and Woodson, BUT BUT, Woodson won a championship and White played for 2.

Chris Gaynor
Pierre Wooten
Amir Johnson
KJ Garland

Now way back guys include
Tony Dunkin
Josh Kohn
Derrick Nix
Scott Hartzell
Antonie Walker

Jesse is awesome, plays hard as anybody, great leader...

Why do you have a 6'7" swing player on your list of point guards?

Big win for the Flames tonight against what I believe is a good team. Liberty just wounded them at the end of the first half and broke their backs by the beginning of the second half. This game has allowed Liberty to start separating itself from the rest of the conference with the exception of Coastal Carolina. I am now a firm believer that this regular season conference title is going to come down to two teams; Liberty and Coastal Carolina. These two teams are just the most consistent day in and day out while everybody else seems like Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde. Well, Radford is consistently bad.

Tony Dunkin. Most overrated player in conference history. Only NCAA player to win his conference POY all 4 years. Deserved one of them, maybe 2. He occasionally took a playmaking role, but he was definately not a PG.

I am with oldflame on this one. Tony Dunkin never played point guard and was extremely overrated. He was a very good player but not a 4time POY talent by a long ways.
Waterman was good, but wouldn't rate him in the top 3-4 BSC all time.

I know he was a combo guard, but for overall contributions to the program let me throw Scar some love in that all-time LU PG discussion. Oh, and Houston product Chris Caldwell was another guy who played the point at times during our dark years that was pretty special. Who know how good he would have been with some more talent around him.

:D

And what a win last night. I was out and missed the action but loved seeing my fellow Houstonian post another triple double.

For at least part of the game last night, Layer had Chene playing the point and Jesse at the wing. Having Jesse, with his muscle and size at the 3, creates problems for the other team's defense.

That's a lineup we discussed before the season, and I think it is a matchup nightmare for some teams. We haven't seen it much because Minaya has stepped up to play so well at the 3.

Not the crappy woods shown on one commercial but the PSP fields by Falwells home. Almost went to Liberty to play tournament paintball because they have one of the best facilities and one of the only on campus fields in the nation. Pay some respect is all i say
If I think you're talking about the one that I think you are, that commercials pretty old.

Good solid win last night. We played very well. I think we will see that type performance for the balance of the season at home. That's why getting the #1 seed is so crucial to us. Not saying we won't lose at home, but it won't be many if we do.

This deserves its own thread: Paintball V Quiz Bowl. Which is better to participate in? Which is more viewer friendly?

Is it just me or has there regularly been something for Coach Radebaugh to complain about when the Bucs come to town?
