LU boxers? Interesting. Were they red, white, & blue? If not, I hope that doesn't mean that he's going to the other LU...in Farmville. ATrain, any news from your neck of the woods?

Some dude said he was going to be better than his brother, I doubt it but I hope I get proved wrong
I havn't heard that anywhere Dom. It's possible you may be thinking about the youngest Gordon brother, who is still a pup, but "some dude" (his father) says he is better than either Eric or Evan at the same age.
It was a comment on the youtube video I posted, someone said he's seen them both play in person

Nothing about Evan on Duquesne's website. They have 10 returning players and signed 2 this Spring.

Evan just changed his education info on facebook to Liberty University '13. So this looks pretty promising.

It's finally official:
Liberty men’s basketball head coach Dale Layer has announced that Evan Gordon has signed to play basketball for the university for the 2009-10 academic year....

“I think it’s a dream come true to have my son Evan attend Liberty,” reflected Eric Gordon. “I went to school at Liberty and met my wife there. I remember growing up saying that every kid should go to Liberty for at least one year.

If he does leave next year, id be fine with it if everyone knows all along thats his intentions, as opposed to the younger brother of that guy from davidson.

Cider quoted that completely wrong and took it 100% out of context. Here's the actual quote:
“I think it’s a dream come true to have my son Evan attend Liberty,” reflected Eric Gordon. “I went to school at Liberty and met my wife there. I remember growing up saying that every kid should go to Liberty for at least one year. Now Evan has the opportunity to attend for four years and I know he will do better than I did. Our family is really blessed, as my oldest son Eric made mention when we were in town recently to attend Evan’s 12th-grade graduation from nearby Hargrave. Eric told his brother after looking around campus, ‘I think you really need to go ahead and go to school here at Liberty, it is an awesome place.’ It is a dream come true for Evan to be able to do that.”

LUconn, thanks for seeing my poor attempt at humor; sorry, Super, I didn't mean to offend. For the record, I think he'll be here for all 4 years.

I know what you meant. I also know the people that read here that have no brain and would think that Evan Gordon was only coming for a year and start spreading crap like that.

Who'd he get offers from? Everything on the first link lists schools and says no interest.
Butler and Kent State. I'm not sure if Xavier offered or not, but the were hot on his trail.

Butler did not recruit Gordon, I do not think Kent State did either. Who knows where Rivals got that, but it has been incorrect for 2 years. Butler hasn't had an outstanding offer for 09 since last winter.

Well it's also the 1st son. You know the guy in the NBA making tons of money. I don't know why he'd be at orientation so I'm guessing it was Evan.
