I hope you guys know, I am not that close with Doug....we didn't get along too well, so your argument has no depth...then, that doesn't even matter with my opinion about Dunton....

also, I hope coach would say that about players he likes and a player he did not get along with....

I'll agree that Dwight is better.....but, remember

Don't even start that bs, there were countless times Larry Blair did that same thing...

Player Pos Min FG% 3PT% FT% REB AST TO STL BLK PF PPG
David Dees G 38.2 6.6 15.0 44.0 1.2 4.2 28.6 7.4 10.0 74.0 2.4 4.6 7.0 2.6 3.4 0.8 0.4 3.0 21.8

Those are pretty good stats for him...hard to argue Smith is better than him

There is no way that Anthony Smith is better than Dees. LUReal, you must not have ever seen him play, even though you claim to have been following RD for 15 year. And by the way, most of you kool-aide drinkers are close to RD. Jmdickens rarely ever talked to Doug. His relationship with Doug has nothing to do with his opinions, while your relationship with RD most defenitely effects yours.

I agree, hard to argue for AS over Dees. I like Smith's game but Dees seemed to be on the same level as LB, with some making a case for him being his superior.

I think AS has just as much, if not more, potential than Dees. Dees game was just more polished as a sophomore than Smith's is right now.

i agree. that team didn't really have a star like larry on it neither. that would be the reason why smitty doesn't get as many shots as dees did in his soph season. larry and david were the stars, and they were both young. smitty will be the man when larry leaves.

Well, LB was coming off a coming-out party in the BS Championship game the season before. He wasn't the player he is now but he certaintly wasn't a liability, either.

Come on, guys. Let's not get personal. Let's keep it focused on basketball.

For the record, David is a tremendous scorer and to deny that would be foolish. We wish him nothing but the best for the Ragin Cajuns who appear to be in for a long year with David and nto much surrounding him.

That said, Anthony & Brew are on our squad right now so I think it would be prudent to fovcus our energies on them.

Dees is a beast. He is averaging over 21 ppg, and 7 rpg. He put up 37 on Cal St Fullerton
