Well, that pretty much stinks. BJ was set to be a big part of our team this year and we're not going to replace his talents this season.

I was referring to the position, plus Stephene has been with the half of the team for a while so I would think hed be more comfortable since McK has had this long to work with him.

If Stephene steps up and performs well, the loss of BJ isnt really as bad as we would think. Its not like the team has any sort of identity, and it gives plenty of time for someone else to step up and fill his role(hopefully it will be remotely close to BJ's level of play).

I am sad to see BJ go, he is a great friend and competitor as well. I can understand why is he is transferring due to the recruits we signed. Out of high school BJ was recruited by some major programs so I know he has different options. My question now is does Ohman get his scholly? I say O-No

I understand what you are saying, both Stephene and Sanders have the oppurtunity to step up and be our PG.

I wouldn't count on Stephene having all that much of an advantage over the new recruits. He has been around for a year, but as a non-qualifier, he has not really been "part of the team". I believe he could receive academic support, and participate in conditioning, unsupervised off season pickup games and perhaps some limited face to face sessions with coaches, but I'm not even sure about that. No formal practice time.

The fact is there are going to be so many new faces that will HAVE to contribute, even our one real veteren Smitty will have a significant learning curve as he adjusts to the new guys.
