As far as the mom thing goes it's just AWFUL bad luck but still no big deal...he's gotta understand that some chick didnt take the time to research that something happened to his mom. Either way I'd love for some of their players (and coach) and heck some of our own to take a trip to Maryland one day and listen to what they have....then when they want to complain to an official that someone is making jokes about you having STD's etc (which is far more possible then the chances your mom died) the ref will laugh asking if he's serious.



ANYWAYS yes KO does flop to much, and to be honest it's his inability to play defense (to be blunt). It's the easy way out. For the record he still hasnt gotten the memo about the cockiness....if I see him keep his follow through up running down the court while we're losing I'm going to flip...not to mention him standing over the guy he just blocked shaking his head 'no'....I used to love this kid BY FAR my favorite player...at the beginning of the year I couldnt stop talking about him....my first words EVER to RM was how impressed I was of KO and how I think he's the most improved...it's like he's uncoachable now...STOP DRIVING man...you're so much better spotting up....WE WANT TO LOVE YOU AGAIN!!!! people are talking about it...I heard 5 people tonite talking about him


Sorry for the rant...as far as Ace goes..I dont think he's playing soft right now...I think it was a mix of having jello legs from the minutes and lets face it hypen kid was tough...not great but VERY strong...he could have his way on anyone in the league (may not finish but he'll get his shot).

You guys just can't escape drama, can you? That's obviously terrible about the kid's mom but it can't be the first time somebody's said something. He played 4 years of high school ball (or at least enough to get recruited) and he never heard anyone say anything about his mom? Come on. High school basketball fans are the worst-behaved fans in the world this side of Croatian skinheads. I'm not defending what happened but I'd bet hard Canadian currency that it probably wouldn't have been that big a deal if Radford had won the game.

I say who cares because (A). the only initials that count are LU (Kool-Aid, I know) and (B). it doesn't matter for the future if McKay can recruit from "behind the 8-ball" since he's not going to be in that position in the future.

And yeah, it's VERY possible he may be in that position in the future when a recruit who has verballed backs out the night before causing him to scramble like he has had to before but with even less time to find a body for that scholly

we dug ourselves an early hole but grinded it out. smitty was absolutely terrific last night. i still think ace plays soft at times but that lynch-flor kid is a banger. and though i do not blame wins/losses on refs..that crew that did the game was awful. esp the thinner black ref. damon williams who played at VMI. a lot of the call both ways were questionable. it was good to see some edge back in the RU/LU rivalry.

Jeremy was recruited by the previous staff. I'm not sure if there was an actual scholarship offer made or why a player with his HS resume and honor roll grades didn't sign in the early period. Perhaps he was hoping for an offer from a more prestigeous program. Bottom line is he was interested in LU before, but didn't decide to come til after the change.

One ridiculous no call sticks out in my head - an obvious travel by Martel McDuffy. How do you catch the ball, jump up in the air, come back down and go up again with a shot. And he drained it too. There should have been a make up call on the other end for that... we should have been able to get away with murder down there.

tuned in to MASN and a boxing match broke out. Rough game- wow.

So glad that punk that knocked BJ around got t'd up. that was absolute crap. Was sure someone was gonna come out of there with a serious injury. Esp after BJ went over the scorers' table.

amazing that we won, considering we got beat in most statistical catagories. The sheer volume of 3 pters is evidently what made the difference. Good rebounding as well, even w/ a size disadvantage much of the time, kept turnovers down as well. A shame (and somewhat concerning) that we can't draw more than 3k fans on a SATURDAY NITE in LYNCHBURG.

I remember back when games were in the Multi-Purpose Center and we were playing Longwood (I think), some tool from there had a sign with similar language about Dr. Falwell. Let's just say he left with a knot or two upside his head. Don't come into "my house" with that crap and think it's going to fly.

I'm all for being rowdy for your team, being a crazy fan, etc., but fan behavior is getting so over the top (everywhere) it's pathetic.

Leave it to Liberty to judge a kid by the shirt he wears. You say he's a jerk but you haven't said one word to him. You have no clue of anything about the kid except for him wearing a Luck Fiberty shirt. He's actually got one for most conference schools. I've seen so many Duck Fuke shirts and Cuck Foastal and things like that. Be offended by it all you want, but personally attacking a kid when you know nothing about him on the sole basis of what he's wearing is by-far the most embarrassing thing about being a Liberty student. Talk to the kid then call him a jerk.
