who take Coach D up on it will find how he was 31-15 in his first three seasons in conference play. Don't count the interim year when he salvage us from embarrassment and fell just short of the finals. The critics can have their day but I thought the team played with intensity and purpose tonight. They will
continue to improve just like every team Dunton has coached.
Great first post. I think I just found who stole my jug of Kool Aid tonite!

all the Kool aid for you guys tonight. The game was so close I bet Cederville was upset cause they thought they could beat us. 14 is too close for a NAIA division 2 team.

What team of RD's has improved?????

year one finished second was great defensively-needed more offense. year two struggled non-conference with tough schedule killed jeff lebo's UT-Chatt team in Dec goes on to 11-0 at home NCAA tournament. Big time accomplishment- don't underestimate the achievement. year three two key injuries to Woodson and Turner still a 2nd place finish. last year was a tough year but if you watch every game the guys functioned with solid concepts but were short on talent. The Miller and Robinson terminations were short term losses but when a Coach and staff can respond by recruiting Dwight Brewington and Alex McClean with those two scholarship then they deserve some compliments not just a barrage of political or clueless garbage. Some on this board must feel important cause they can spew their toxic lace outsights not insights.

what you will see in practice is what you are not seeing in the first 2 games that you guys watched... and that's the BEAST! dwight is a monster and you will get to see him and teejay and get excited about what you will see when it really matters in jan-march

TJ means jack freaking squat to this year's club. His name shouldn't be brought up until after the season is over.

Like I've said multiple times, I'll wait until we get Brew before I decide on how good this team really is. From what I have seen personally, I see a .500 ball club. However, one player can change a team, so I'll wait for Brew.

watching dwight in practice will get you excited for conference play.... trust me. teejay will just be a tease

Yea, teases are only fun if you know at the end of the night it'll stop being a tease. Teases aren't fun when you know at the end of the night you still have to wait a year to get the full effect.

Personally, I have no desire to see practice. That's just me though. It was a great idea for Coach Dunton to do and I respect that he's that open. However, I would personally like to see thing sin a game to make a decision.

Another thing I've said multiple times, basketball season for me starts after Thanksgiving. That's when I'll go into full-time basketball mode. Right now I'm still in football mode so please don't give me crap for not going to the game today.

TJ means alot to the program and our ability to cover LB's departure. He will dominate the guards in the Big South. but this team will write it own history. Thank God that dickens and haize aren't the authors.
LB and Brew will control this novel.

First off, the lame shots at Haize and dickens need to stop.

Second, for me to go watch TJ and think of what we will get next year would be like me going to a recruit's high school to watch him. I'm an ACC guy, I've seen TJ play before. I will love watching TJ next year, but for this year, he's just a great practice squad player.

I laughed at that one time. I complimented you in that thread. That was a one time joke. People saying things over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over over and over gets pretty old.

the masters of cheap talk are again to be handled with kid gloves. no many are sick of their constant attacks. if the team doesn't show up and play hard or execute then criticize. but balance the bull with the reality of moves in a positive direction.

sly can we talk about a 2nd team Big East player joining LB. that will be fun to watch. I predict the community will be out in force to watch high quality talent.

Would you go to a play if the understudy was performing instead of the star?

I hate to do this to you Jon, but, Seeing TJ means jack squat? WOW  Seeing TJ means seeing what BJ and most of the other players have become. Sure, TJ will not be on the floor this year, but just playing with him BJ is better for it. BJ has always been a good PG but without TJ hes a lot further off from being as good as he is. BJ played pretty much ALL of the blue and white game matched up against a GREAT ACC player, and does everyday in practice. BJ will tell you himself having TJ has made him a better player. Outside of being matched up with him everyday TJ helps him out every chance possible. Thats like saying When Dwight practices he means nothing till Jan. and does not help the program at all.

On a side note, This was an extension from Coach D just so everyone can check it out. You can continue to hate and talk trash if you want to. Hes not saying come to practice then you an hate, hes just allowing you to watch if you want to. On the other hand, people that want to just sit back and say no im not going to his practice, you dont HAVE to come to be on flamefans but then still hating is like hearing half of a story and being ticked off and refusing to hear the other half. So hate on, dont come out and watch, and continue to make ignorant decisions and comments about the program without seeing what takes place.

Though I would think that watching Larry Blair would be worth the price of admission...but I"m a basketball junky, so I'm probably not the person to ask about that. Heck, I've gone to a Charleston Southern vs. Wofford basketball game before, just because I wanted to watch some basketball and it was only a 10 minute drive for me.

See, I can understand that for a basketball junkie. You have to think that it was probably a typical apathetic student that said that. They've watched Larry for three years and don't see it as a big deal anymore or they never did.

Yeah...We're still trying to figure out how to fill a 6,000 seat arena despite winning the conference championship in 6 of the last 8 years. So I know exactly what you're talking about.
