VMI is getting rocked by Gardner Webb, so they will draw to within a game of us for 6th. (let me do the math here for tiebreakers)

Basically, if the tiebreakers are what they were last year, we need a win against VMI, then also a win against Coastal or Campbell (or preferably both). CSU is our best win, so if VMI were to beat them they would be 1-0 against CSU, versus us being 1-1, and they would get the tiebreaker. Also, VMI plays Coastal, so beating Coastal would be preferable to beating Campbell, though of course the road is much easier if you win all three.

I just noticed this, if we host as the 7 seed or 8 on Feb. 27, the ladies have a game scheduled for that night at 7. So when will the game get played? There would be a schedule conflict.

Must admit it, the team has drawn me back in a bit. It's impressive that they didn't just mail it in a couple weeks ago. I think thats a solid sign that Layer has the guy's playing hard for him. Doesn't mean the future is set, but it's still a good and welcome sign.

I know this sounds mean to say but do you think that seeing us win like this bothers folks like ToC and IMBach? I mean with the team playing much better basketball they really dont come around much so it got me thinking if they wanted to see us lose and crash and burn or something...

Another good win. Every game out these guys play better. Sounds to me like good coaching and a "wonderful" job. Let's just hope this run lasts a couple more weeks.
