I seriously doubt ODU is going after Theus at this point. We got a commit from a NC guard who helped his team win the NC State Championship. The year after that 2 more guards come in.... Batten (ranked 93/100 on ESPN recruiting page) and we just got a commit today from Jaquon Parker, VA's Player of the Year (ranked 89 on ESPN recruiting page). He is a good get for us... UConn, VA, and others were hot after him. Theus was VA second team.

i wouldnt get too excited about parker yet, hes going to hargrave for a year and you know big time schools will be trying to change his mind if he does well

That can always happen, but big time programs were already after him... UConn, G-Town, etc. Plus some of the quotes makes me thing he'll stay.
"The 6-foot-4, multi-talented guard said he wanted to "cement the hometown legacy" that is becoming a staple of the Monarchs' program.

"ODU got a really good player who will complement what's already there," said longtime local AAU coach Boo Williams. "I think he just really wanted to stay at home."
Parker, a front-runner for state Group AAA Player of the Year honors, said he has "a really good relationship" with Monarchs coach Blaine Taylor and assistant coach John Richardson, adding that the rapport calcified his impending commitment.

"They've kept it real for me, and I realized that ODU is a good fit for me," Parker said.
"He felt very comfortable with the situation at ODU," King's Fork coach Josh Worrell said. "The coaching staff there made him feel they would really be looking out for him."

Darius Theus committed to VCU today. ODU never offered after we got Jaquon Parker. Maybe he followed your assistant to VCU, dunno. Good luck the rest of the way.

And my nephew from MN just visited the campus last week and I think he may be going up there to school.

We avg around 7,500 for bball. If you came down to the LU v ODU game you would know that.
I was asking about FOOTBALL. We are in the middle of renovating a 60 year old building on campus and have around 14,500 preorder for season tickets.
I went to LU on a homecoming weekend awhile back and know your stadium is nice... just looking for numbers of seats and avg number of butts per game.

Last year's average was precisely 13,147

Good enough for number 17 in the country in the FCS

I wasn't trying to throw anything... just responding to the stuff thrown at me!

No NIT this year. We won the CIT.
Three years ago we went to the "Final Four" of the NIT. I was there at Madison Square Garden to watch. Unfortunately our starting forward tore his ACL in the first half and Michigan beat us. NIT was sandwiched between 2 NCAA appearances.
