The same thing with Alex McLean, who should be in the discussion for second-tier all-LU.
Is no one even going to mention Gabe Martin? He was never the best in the conference at any one category but he was top three in the conference in boards, points and assists every year he was a flame. He was the best floor general Liberty has had in the past decade. Not to mention that he got us dancing in '04 with a coach who now coaches girls HS hoops.
He may have not been the best basketball player LU ever had, but he certainly deserves honroable mention.

Cliff was selected by the Celtics before trying to make it as a tight end at Carson Neuman. I always liked Cliff as a player but we were DII back then and its hard to compare. It should be noted also that Cliff was selected in the 4th round of the NBA draft, which of course no longer exists. I wouldn't go so far as to say he wasn't on the same level as the players from the D1 era though. He had monumental battles with Jerome Kersey of Longwood, who went on to have a long NBA career.

1. Hildebrand (a proven leader and winner who possessed a potent combination of playmaking & scoring)
2. Aluma (constantly drew double teams; strong inside scorer; great shot blocker and defender)
3. Juice (played 3 yrs and got better every year; developed into a dominant big man)
Blair and Curry will eventually be in that ring of honor. I'd probably place them both ahead of Juice and after Aluma for the moment.
